Chiropody (also known as Podiatry) is the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the foot and lower limb.
The human foot is a complex structure - it contains bones, muscles, nerves, ligaments, and blood vessels - and is designed for balance and mobility. The 52 bones in your feet make up about one-fourth of all the bones in your body. Podiatrists diagnose and treat disorders, diseases, and injuries of the foot and lower leg to keep this part of the body working properly. Podiatrists treat corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, bunions, heel spurs, arch problems, ankle & foot injuries, deformities, infections, and foot complaints associated with diseases such as diabetes. read less |

Osteopathy is a safe and effective natural therapy which can help with a wide range of aches, pains and postural problems.
Its main benefit is the ability to get to the root cause of the problem, not just the symptoms. The initial consultation involves a comprehensive case history (to include all aspects of a patient's health) plus examination (including a postural assessment – bring suitable underwear) and then treatment. Osteopathic treatment consists of gentle manipulation and stretching of the muscles, ligaments and joints. Treatment is not painful and rarely uncomfortable. Whilst some patients are referred by their GP, this is by no means a necessity and osteopaths are fully trained to carry out diagnosis and evaluation themselves. read less |

Acupuncture is a system of healing, which has been practised in China for over 2000 years, and is based on the concept of maintaining balance and harmony within the body.
According to traditional Chinese medicine our health is dependent on the body's motivating energy, Qi (pronounced Chee), which flows through energy channels around the body. When the flow of Qi becomes unbalanced, illness may result. By inserting fine, sterilised, disposable needles into the channels of energy, acupuncture can stimulate the body's own healing response and help restore its natural balance. read less |

Hypnotherapy is a widely accepted, established and recognised treatment to help cure many different problems.
Hypnotherapy is a widely accepted, established and recognised treatment and is used for the alleviation and cure of many different problems such as stopping smoking, weight control, improving self confidence and so on. Hypnosis is a state of deep mental and physical relaxation that you allow yourself to enter, you remain completely in control at all times and aware of your environment the whole time. The best way to describe it is to compare it to the drowsy state just before you fall asleep. In this relaxed state of being you are very open to any suggestions made to you. Life changing results can be achieved and the source that brings about this change is within your unconscious mind, that part of you that acts as your friend, guide, mentor, advisor and memory bank. Hypnotherapy is a very safe soothing painless way of dealing with your problems, it's like having your mind massaged. After just one session you will be able to cope better with life and its many stresses. You will feel more confident, happier, more positive, and generally much more relaxed and calm. read less |
