Elizabeth Holdsworth

Elizabeth qualified in 1989 from Huddersfield University with a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine. This was followed by a Certificate in Health Education from Christchurch College, Canterbury and a BSc(Hons) in Podiatric Medicine.

Elizabeth’s interest in the health and wellbeing of older people in particular enabled her to focus in the specialist field of Gerontology. Laterly gaining a Masters Degree and a Doctorate in Gerontology from Kings College University London.

Elizabeth has considerable teaching experience gained from teaching undergraduate podiatry students and students at postgraduate level when working as a Post-Docturate lecturer at the Institute of Gerontology at King’s College, London.

During her career Elizabeth has worked for the NHS as a Senior Practitioner and Team Leader at Orpington Hospital leading a team of podiatrists working in the challenging environment of diabetes footcare.

Elizabeth is both a business partner to Tony Saunders and one of the practitioners at Chislehurst Clinic. She treats a wide range of podiatric conditions advising patients with a range of podiatric needs including minor nail surgery, issues of diabetes footcare, and other  routine footcare issues.
